Where available, the View Control function allows you to specify which information to display on your screen. When accessed, a window will be displayed offering you a choice of one or more view modes. The content of these windows is never the same. It varies upon the program you accessed it from. Typically you will be able to select the category (e.g., item code/description) in which to display your records as well as the order (ascending or descending). The view mode that you select will be defaulted to your session until you log off.
The View Control function is available in Work with requests and returns.
Work with requests and returns, Lines
If you click on View Control in the Work with requests and returns, Lines panel then you will be able to customise the information that is displayed on your panel:
- Show view 1 – 3
- You must enable these fields to be able to use the Shift info function key to toggle the following:
- Show view 1 and 2 allows you to toggle the following information:
and
- Show view 3, in addition to Show view 1 and 2, allows you to toggle to the view holding the actions. You must enable all three Show views to be able to view the actions.
- Customer item view
- By setting this field to YES additional item information will be provided (i.e. the Customer’s description for the item (retrieved from the Item file and displayed in the Item description column).
