This panel displays all the actions for the various event types that are used for DC1 Alert Management. From this panel you are able to view the properties of each action, as well as view several control files and tables that are related to these.

Options

Parameters Select this option to view the action parameters for the event type.
Calls & commands Select this option to view program calls and commands for the action.

Selection fields

Event type
Displays the name and description of the selected event type.

Action
This colum lists the names of the actions that have been configured.

Type
Displays the event type connected to the action.

Event type
Displays the name of the selected event type.
Action
Displays the name of the action that you are viewing.
Description
Displays a description of the action that you are viewing.
Action proposal
Indicates to users what the intention and/or purposes of this action are.
Type
The type indicates how the action should be classified.

Valid types are:

Type Description
1 Actions of this type contain an action proposal, but no program is called to perform the action. You will be offered a suggestion advising you what to do next.
2 Actions of this type contain an action proposal, as well as commands to call a program in order to complete the action.
Default status upd
Specifies the value that should be defaulted on the Update message status panel when the action has been performed.
Allowed for client <
The value in this field is used for comparison between Action validity and Client type. This is used to determine whether it is possible for the client type to perform this action or not.
Display status panel
Indicates if the Update message status panel should be displayed when the action has been performed.
