This panel displays all files in the system where exceptions from default values are made concerning, for example, Share open data path, Access path maintenance, Increments number of records etc.

- Subset
- Displays the subset you selected, and all files belonging to this subset. When you first reach this panel, the default subset is *ALL. You can select a subset by clicking the Select subset function key.
File exception table enquiry (ASGD1286)
- File name
- Share open data path
- Indicates whether the file should be shared.
- Subset
- Displays the subset to which the file belongs.
- Identity
- Access path maint
- Displays the type of access path maintenance for logical files. Possible values displayed are *IMMED, *REBLD and *DLY. If the field is blank the value for Access path maintenance in the file is used. You can see the value in the file by using the iSeries system command DSPFD.
- Physical file type
- Displays the file type for physical files. The field can be blank, or contain one of the following values:
Type Purpose *TRANS For transaction files, for example a Sales order file. *STAT For statistics files. *BASACC For basic files with accumulators, such as Business partner file. An accumulator in the Business partner file is, e.g., Actual order amount. *NUM For number series tables.
- Modification number
- Initial no of rcds
- Displays the initial number of records in the file or the value *NOMAX. If the field is blank, the value for Initial numbers of records in the file is used. You can see this value by using the iSeries system command DSPFD.
- Change date
- Increment no of rcds
- Displays the number of records that are automatically added to the file when the numbers of records in the file are greater than the value in the Initial no of rcds field. If the field is blank, the value for Increment no of rcds in the file is used. You can see this value by using the iSeries system command DSPFD.
- Max increments
- Displays the maximum numbers of increments that can be automatically added to the file. If the field is blank, the value for Maximum increments in the file is used. You can see this value by using the iSeries system command DSPFD.
- Object library
- Displays the name of the library in which the object is stored.
- Object type
- Displays the object type:

- Displays the object attribute:

- Object description
- Displays the object description.
- Source file
- Displays the name of the source file.
- Source library
- Displays the library of the source file.
