This panel lists the insurance companies that have been set up in your system. The following applies:
- If DC1 Financials is installed and activated
The companies are generated directly into this file from the entries in Work with insurance policies, where an insurance company must be entered in combination with each policy. This means that if DC1 Financials is installed, you cannot enter or maintain companies via this program. Insurance companies will be retrieved from the Business partner file. - If DC1 Financials is not installed
Entries can be manually added, changed and copied.
You can obtain a printout of the contents from the Table printout program selection.

Selection fields
- Company
- This column lists the numbers of the existing insurance companies.
- Name
- Displays the name of the related insurance company.
- Internal name
- Displays the internal name of the insurance company.
- Contact name
- Displays the name of the contact person at the insurance company.
- Address line 1-4
- Displays the address of the insurance company.
- Postal code
- Displays the postal code of the insurance company.
- Telephone number
- Displays the telephone number of the insurance company.
- Telex number
- Displays the telex number of the insurance company.
- Telefax number
- Displays the telefax number of the insurance company.
Work with insurance companies (AACD11704)
These entries are used in the Asset file to indicate an insurance company for each insurance policy. All information is retrieved from the Business partner file, if DC1 Financials is installed and activated. If not installed, then enter all relevant information.
Note: You are only able to add or change an entry on this panel if DC1 Financials is not installed.
- Company
- Displays the number of the insurance company. This field cannot be changed.
- Name
- Displays the name of the insurance company, retrieved from the Business partner file, if DC1 Financials is installed and activated. If not installed, then enter the name of the insurance company. Mandatory entry.
- Internal name
- Displays the internal name of the insurance company, retrieved from the Business partner file, if DC1 Financials is installed and activated. If not installed, then enter an internal name of the insurance company. Mandatory entry.
- Address
- Displays the address of the insurance company, retrieved from the Business partner file, if DC1 Financials is installed and activated. If not installed, then enter the address of the insurance company.
- Contact person
- Displays the contact person at the insurance company, retrieved from the Business partner file, if DC1 Financials is installed and activated. If not installed, then enter the name of the contact person at the insurance company.
- Telephone number
- Displays the telephone number of the insurance company, retrieved from the Business partner file, if DC1 Financials is installed and activated. If not installed, then enter the telephone number of the insurance company.
- Telefax number
- Displays the telefax number of the insurance company, retrieved from the Business partner file, if DC1 Financials is installed and activated. If not installed, then enter the telefax number of the insurance company.
- Telex number
- Displays the telex number of the insurance company, retrieved from the Business partner file, if DC1 Financials is installed and activated. If not installed, then enter the telex number of the insurance company.
Work with insurance companies, Copy (AACD11705)
Note: You are only able to copy an entry if DC1 Financials is not installed.
- Company
- Displays the insurance company(ies) you selected to copy.
- New company
- Enter a code to identify the new insurance company you are creating.
Work with insurance companies, Deletion (AACD11708)
Note: If an insurance policy exists for the insurance company, then deletion is not allowed.
