The preloaded rule USAGE (Variable rate) is based on usage curves defined in this program.

- Displays a description of the related usage curve.
- Total quantity
- Displays the total quantity for the related usage curve.
- Quantity unit
- Displays the unit of the quantity.
- Decimals for unit
- Displays the number of decimals used for the quantity.

On this panel you define a new usage curve or change an existing one.

- This field cannot be changed.
- Description
- Total quantity
- Enter the total quantity for the usage curve. You may not allocate more than this total quantity to the depreciation periods.
- Quantity unit
- Mandatory entry. Enter the unit of the quantity.
- Decimals for unit
- Enter the number of decimals used for the quantity. Valid values are between 0 and 3.

- Curve
- Displays the usage curve(s) you selected to copy.
- New curve
- Enter a code to identify the new usage curve you are creating.
