Work with delivery schedule profiles (INVD05401)

In this program the basic information for a delivery schedule profile is defined. This information includes the schedule type and frequency of outbound delivery schedules. This panel displays the delivery schedule profiles that have been defined.

Options

Note: You cannot delete a profile that is connected to a supplier.

Selection fields

Profile
This column lists the delivery schedule profiles that have been created.
Description
This column lists the description for each of the profiles.
Schedule type
Displays one of three schedule types, to which the profile will apply.

The following schedule types exist:

No of days interval
Displays the number of days interval that should elapse before new delivery schedules for this profile are created.
Day of week 1-3
Displays the numeric value for day of the week (1 – 7) on which delivery schedules may be created. Note: If the week starts on a Monday in your region, this day will be allocated 1. If Sunday is the first day of the week for you, then this day is denoted by 1.
Date of month 1-3
Displays a date, within the month (i.e. 1 – 31), on which delivery schedules may be created.
Days in schedule
Displays the number of days in the future for which this profile applies.
Send automatically
Indicates if the delivery schedule should be sent or printed automatically. If NO, then the schedule will need to be printed and sent manually.
Send despite warning
If the schedule is defined to be sent automatically, then this flag dictates whether or not this should still be so, in spite of error warnings having been received during creation.
Send empty schedule
This flag determines what will be done when there is no demand for an item/warehouse that is connected to this schedule. YES indicates that an empty message will be sent to your suppliers. NO indicates that a schedule will not be sent.
Send empty once
If Send empty schedule is YES, then this flag determines if an empty schedule will be sent but once, or continuously.

Function keys

Schedule profile
Mandatory entry. Enter a six character long code to identify the new profile you are creating. This field cannot be changed for existing records.
Description
Mandatory entry. Enter a description of the profile you are creating. This field may be changed for existing records.
Schedule type
Enter one of the three valid schedule types to which this profile will apply.

The following schedule types exist:

No of days interval
Mandatory entry. Enter the number of days interval that should elapse before new delivery schedules for this profile are created.
Day of week 1

Date of month 2
Enter a date, within the month (i.e. 1 – 31), on which delivery schedules may be created.
Date of month 3
Enter a date, within the month (i.e. 1 – 31), on which delivery schedules may be created.
Days in schedule

Indicate if you want to have the delivery schedule sent or printed automatically. If NO is entered, then the schedule will need to be printed and sent manually.

Mandatory entry. If the schedule is defined to be sent automatically, Send automatically is set to YES, then indicate in this field whether or not this should still be so, in spite of error warnings having been received during creation.
Send empty schedule
