DC1 Alert Management is a system that uses parameters, limitations and filters to monitor certain events in DC1. For example, if you work in the Accounts Receivable department and are responsible for dealing with outstanding payments, then the system may be arranged in such a way that you receive messages informing you of customers who have amounts outstanding for more than 60 days. However, DC1 Alert Management can be used in a vast number of ways and messages can relate to almost anything that the System Administrator configures.
