On this panel you are able to take action upon the messages that you have received via DC1 Alert Management. You are able to view action proposals and, depending on the action type (1 or 2), perform actions.
Options
Perform action | Only valid for actions of type 2. Select this option to perform an action. | |
Parameters | Only valid for actions of type 2 that have been set to changeable on the Work with action parameters panel. Select this option to edit parameters for an action. This option allows you to make changes to the original action parameter before this action is performed. The parameter values at this level must be handled in the same manner as message header text. This means that, for a parameter that you want to be NBR 2, the action will appear as:

- Event
- Displays the name of the event to which the actions are connected, and the message that has been received.
- Action
- Displays the name of the action that may be performed.
- Text
- Displays brief information about the action that may be taken.
- Type
- The type indicates how the action should be classified.
Type Description 1 Actions of this type contain an action proposal, but no program is called to perform the action. You will be offered a suggestion advising you what to do next. 2 Actions of this type contain an action proposal, as well as commands to call a program in order to complete the action.
Work with message actions (EDSD25104)
This panel displays the action proposal for the message you are working with.

- Event type
- Displays the name of the event to which the actions are connected, and the message that has been received.
- Action
- Displays the name of the action that may be performed.
- Action proposal
- Displays a suggestion of what action you should take.
Update message status (EDSD25105)
This panel is only displayed if Display status panel is set to YES on the Work with actions panel for the event type.
- Update status
- Indicate if the message status should be updated. If YES, then the message will be removed from your in-box.
