Work with ISO 20022 external code lists, Elements (FLR71401)

This panel displays the ISO 20022 external code list elements that exist in your system. Elements marked with an asterisk (*) are system-defined. ISO 20022 external code list codes are linked to each element and available via the Codes option.

Activated ISO 20022 external code list elements and codes are used in the following routines:

  • Work with A/P payment modes
  • Work with business partners, A/P payment modes
  • Enter financial transactions
  • Work with A/P transactions
  • Retrieve A/P DI invoice
  • Retrieve financial transactions
  • Work with journal in error
  • Work with A/P payment proposals
  • Work with credit transfer schemes
  • Work with A/R payment modes
  • Work with SEPA Direct Debit schemes
  • Work with Direct Debit mandates
  • Work with business partners, A/R payment modes
  • Work with banks
  • Work with business partners, Credit transfer data
  • Work with business partners, SEPA Direct Debit data
  • Work with business partners, Bank data
  • Work with A/R payment proposals

You can manually define new elements.

Options

Note: Copying affects both element and linked codes.

Note: Deleting affects both element and linked codes. System-defined elements cannot be deleted.

Codes Select this option to work with ISO 20022 external code list codes.

Selection fields

Element
This column lists the existing ISO 20022 external code list elements. System-defined elements are indicated by an asterisk (*).

Active
Indicates if the element is active.
System
Indicates if the element is system-defined.

Element
Enter an element.
Description
Enter a description of the new record. For existing records, if a description has already been entered, it may be changed.
Active
Indicate if the element should be active. System-defined elements are active by default, but can be changed. Exceptions are the system-defined elements *GRP and *PAYMTD which are mandatory and cannot be changed.
System
Indicates if the element is system-defined. The field cannot be changed.
Mandatory
Indicates if the element is mandatory. The field cannot be changed. Note: Only the system-defined elements *GRP and *PAYMTD are mandatory.
