This panel displays the receptions. You can choose to scan barcoded labels for the reception, or enter the reception information manually.
Options
Select | If you do not use a scanner, select this option to access the Work with batch reception, Details panel where you can enter the information manually. |
Scan | Select this option to access the Work with batch reception, Detail scanning panel to scan the barcoded label for the scanning operation. |
Function keys
Without reception note | The possibility exists to perform a reception without a printed reception note. Access the Work with batch reception, Details panel where you enter an item number and a quantity. The batch ID, expiration date and serial number may also be entered if the receiving item requires such attributes. The system will then find the first open purchase order with matching item and quantity, and if such a purchase order is found then reception will be done against this order. From that panel you also have the possibility to click the Scan function key to access the Detail scanning panel to scan the barcoded label. |
Selection fields
- Warehouse
- Displays the warehouse for the reception.
- Barcode
- Displays the default barcode set up in the Barcodes table that is to be scanned.
- Reception
- This column lists the reception numbers.
- Supplier
- This column lists the supplier ID for the receptions.
- Name
- This column lists the name of the supplier for the receptions.
Work with batch reception, Details (DSR40104)
On this panel you can manually enter the reception information.
Function keys
Scan | Access the Work with batch reception, Detail scanning panel to scan the barcoded label for the scanning operation. |
- Warehouse
- Displays the warehouse for the reception.
- Barcode
- Displays the default barcode set up in the Barcodes table that is to be scanned.
- Reception
- Displays the reception number. If the reception is for a reception without a reception note, this field will be blank.
- Supplier
- Displays the supplier ID and name for the reception. If the reception is for a reception without a reception note, this field will be blank.
- Item
- Enter the item code for the reception.
- Quantity
- Enter the quantity for the reception.
- Batch
- If the item is a batch item, enter the received batch ID.
- Expiry date
- If the batch item is date handled (i.e. the Date handling field is set to YES for the item on the last Item file maintenance, Inventory information panel) enter the expiry date (i.e. use by date).
- Pallet
- If the item is an DC1 Warehouse Management controlled item, enter the pallet number.
- Serial number
- If the item is a serial number tracked item, enter the serial number.
- Tracking ID
- This field is only displayed if the SERTRACK (Serialized tracking) function is activated in the Function control file. If the item is batch controlled and it is flagged for serialized tracking, enter the serialized tracking ID.
Work with batch reception, Detail scanning (DSR40105)
This panel is where you perform the scanning operation. After scanning the barcoded label, the scan string is received into the scan text box area on the bottom of the panel. If the string information is validated, the information will be put into the individual fields above that area and they will remain non-input capable. If the scanned string is not validated, the fields will open for input where you can manually correct/add that applicable.
- Warehouse
- Displays the warehouse for the reception.
- Barcode
- Displays the default barcode set up in the Barcodes table that is to be scanned.
- Reception
- Displays the reception number.
- Supplier
- Displays the supplier ID and name for the reception.
- Item
- After scanning the barcoded label, the item code for the reception will be displayed in this field.
- Quantity
- After scanning the barcoded label, the quantity for the reception will be displayed in this field.
- Batch
- After scanning the barcoded label, the received batch ID for the item will be displayed in this field if the item is a batch controlled item.
- Expiry date
- After scanning the barcoded label, the expiry date (i.e. use by date) for the batch item will be displayed in this field.
- Pallet
- After scanning the barcoded label, the pallet for the reception will be displayed in this field if the item is an DC1 Warehouse Management controlled item.
- Serial number
- After scanning the barcoded label, the serial number for the item will be displayed in this field is the item is a serial number tracked item.
- Tracking ID
- This field is only displayed if the SERTRACK (Serialized tracking) function is activated in the Function control file. After scanning the barcoded label, the serialized tracking ID will be displayed in this field if the item is a serialized tracked item.
