Application definition table maintenance (ASGD9704)
The purpose of this table is to define applications, for example, FIN (DC1 Financials) and DIS (DC1 Distribution) in the system.
This information is used later in the:
- Work with companies program to connect applications to a company.
- Object definition table: Holds the information about all objects in the system and which application the objects belong to.
- Object naming table: Holds the default object naming information, and which application the default naming is connected to. This table is used get the application code for an object then creating the Object definition table.

- Enter a valid subset from the Subset table.

- Maintenance program
- Enter the name of the maintenance program for the selected application. The Work with companies program retrieves the name of the maintenance program and accesses the program when you click Mnt release definition.
- Prerequisite appl 01-03
- Enter any additional application that must be installed and activated in order to install the selected application.
- Enquiry program
- Enter the name of the enquiry program for the selected application. The Work with companies program retrieves the name of the enquiry program and accesses the program when you click Mnt release definition.
- Print program
- Enter the name of the print program for the selected application.
- Logon program
- Enter the name of the program that is to be called for this application when you log on to the selected company.
- Crt new company pgm.
- Enter the name of the program that is to be called for this application when you create a new company.
- Mandatory
- Set this field to YES if the application is mandatory. A mandatory application is an application that has to be installed to make DC1 run at all, like SYS, GEN & DBF.
- Installed
- Set this field to YES if the application is installed on the hard disk. This field is automatically updated when installing applications
- Database in appl
- Set this field to YES if the application contain database objects that are to be created in the Company/application database library when running the Company generation.
- COOL:2E application
- Set this field to YES if the are application is a COOL:2E application. A COOL:2E application is an application that has generated object from COOL:2E, like MFG and Time. This field is checked in Windows generation and in CONVER.
- HELP, Document
- Enter the document name where the help-text is stored.
