This panel displays the purchase suggestion lines from the purchase suggestion entered on the previous panel. The purpose of this panel is to convert the entire purchase suggestion, or lines from the purchase suggestion to a purchase order.
Once purchase suggestion lines/purchase suggestions are converted to purchase orders, they are deleted from the Purchase suggestion file.
Function keys
| Review codes | This function key is only displayed for purchase suggestions and if DC1 Inventory Control is installed and activated. Select purchase suggestion lines with specific review codes. By choosing certain review codes to work with, you can narrow down the selection on the panel.
Note: After you make a selection, the Review codes function at the bottom of the panel is highlighted indicating that the line displayed may not include all the lines on this purchase suggestion. |
| Copy | This alternative is not a function key. By highlighting records, right-clicking and then selecting Copy, you convert the marked lines to the purchase order. Click again to confirm your choice. |
| Copy selected | Can be used if you have narrowed down the purchase suggestion lines to work with by using the selection fields at the bottom of the panel. Click Copy selected to convert the lines that are selected. Click again to confirm your choice. |
| Copy all | To convert the entire purchase suggestion to an order, click Copy all. Click again to confirm your choice. |
| Maintain suggestion | This function key is only displayed for purchase suggestions. Maintain the purchase suggestion lines on this purchase suggestion. |
- Line
- Displays the line number on the purchase suggestion.
- Item
- Displays the item included in the purchase suggestion.
- Whs
- Displays the warehouse to which the products should be received.
- Quantity
- Displays the suggested quantity on the purchase suggestion.
- Unit
- Displays the unit for the item. In the default view, this quantity is equal to the purchase unit. When you click Shift info, and assuming the PRCUNIT (Price unit handling) function is activated in the Function control file, the unit displayed is the price unit (i.e. the unit in which the price is presented). - Price
- Only displayed when copying purchase suggestions to purchase orders. Displays the purchase price of the product.
- Type
- Only displayed when copying purchase suggestions to purchase orders, if DC1 Inventory Control is installed amd activated and if you click Shift info. Displays the purchase type of the product, retrieved from the Item file, Inventory management panel.
- Int
- Only displayed when copying purchase suggestions to purchase orders, if DC1 Inventory Control is installed and activated and if you click Shift info. Indicates if this is an intermediate purchase.
- L.code
- Only displayed when copying purchase suggestions to purchase orders, if DC1 Inventory Control is installed and activated and if you click Shift info. Displays the line code of the product, retrieved from the Item file, Inventory management panel.
- Rev
- Only displayed when copying purchase suggestions to purchase orders, if DC1 Inventory Control is installed and activated and if you click Shift info. Indicates if the line is marked for review.
Selection fields
- Item
- To select all lines with a certain item, enter the item. You can use this field in combination with the other fields on this line to narrow down the selection further.
- Whs
- To select all lines with a certain warehouse, enter the warehouse code. You can use this field in combination with the other fields on this line to narrow down the selection further.
- Type
- Only displayed for purchase suggestions and if DC1 Inventory Control is installed and activated. To select all lines with a certain purchase type, enter the purchase type. Valid purchase types are 1 (continuously review), 2 (purchase interval) or 3 (net demand). You can use this field in combination with the other fields on this line to narrow down the selection further.
- L.code
- Only displayed for purchase suggestions and if DC1 Inventory Control is installed and activated. To select all lines with a certain line code, enter the line code. You can use this field in combination with the other fields on this line to narrow down the selection further.
- Rev
- Only displayed for purchase suggestions and if DC1 Inventory Control is installed and activated. To select all lines marked for review, set this field YES. To select all lines not marked for review, set this field to NO. You can use this field in combination with the other fields on this line to narrow down the selection further.
Purchase suggestion line selection for copy (DIR53003)
This panel is only displayed if DC1 Inventory Control is installed and activated. Select the review codes that you want to work with and click OK. The purchase suggestion lines with the selection you make are displayed on the panel. By leaving the fields blank, you select to work with all lines.
- Selected lines
- Displays the number of selected lines where the applicable review code is set to YES.
- Suggestion lines
- Displays the number of suggested lines where the applicable review code is set to YES.
