If you reached this panel from the Create a new company menu item, you could either select an existing company code for which you want to generate, or copy, files. If you want to create and generate/copy files for a new company click Add.
You can only maintain the company data for the company you are logged onto, unless you are defined as an “DC1 Administrator”. If you are an DC1 Administrator and maintain another company, the changes on the ASGD00111 panel ( e-mail address, etc) that normally also updates the Country table for the defined System country of the company, will not update the Country table for the selected company. You should instead log on to the company for which you want to make the changes.

- Base currency
- Enter the code for the base currency. The currency must be defined in Work with currencies.
The base currency is used when calculating amounts from the transaction currency to the system currency (triangulation). The system will first calculate the amount into the base currency. Then the amount is calculated from the base currency amount into the system amount.
The base currency is also used when calculating from the transaction currency to primary currency and when calculating from transaction currency to VAT reporting currency.
Note: When calculating amounts into the Reporting currency (displayed in Reporting currency on this panel), the system will first calculate the amount into system currency, and then from system currency into reporting currency.
Note: If you do not need to do any reporting to the authorities in an EU country, i.e. that the country will not join the European Monetary Union, you can enter the same currency in this field as in System currency on this panel. It can be useful with a reporting currency if you, e.g., need to do your internal reporting in another currency than the system currency, or if you want to keep information in the system currency when you have converted into EURO.
Note: The reporting currency must not be changed without running the Calculate reporting currency from system currency menu item.

- Indicate if you want to activate the reversed rate function in the system.
The reversed rate dictates the format in which you will enter the exchange rates in the Exchange rate table.
Code Value Reversed rate NO Base currency SEK Transaction currency GBP Exchange rate 11,55, meaning that 1 GBP is 11,55 SEK.
An amount of 100 GBP will then be calculated as:
