On this panel you enter the estimated forecast adjustments, in quantity or percentage, and generate the forecast details for new or changed values. Any old information will be updated if this program has been run for the selected sales promotion before.
When you generate the estimated forecast values the first time, you have two options: you can either define the estimated increase/decrease values in percentage or by entering a quantity. When records have been created for the sales promotion you can no longer change the selected type of definition. For example, when changes are made to a sales promotion defined with percentage estimates you will only be able to maintain the percentage values.
Note: The generated details will affect all items included in the sales promotion through the defined Item related and/or Order related key. If you only want to change a value for one specific item or certain items, select the Change option on the previous panel.
Note: When you access this panel, you have the following choices:
- Enter the new values (percentage or quantity) to adjust the forecast and then click OK (batch) or F2 (interactive) to generate the details for all included items.
or - If you do not enter any values, and want to return to the previous panel, click Back.
Caution: If you click OK in this situation, you will erase all existing forecast details for the sales promotion.
