The purpose of this confirmation program is two-fold and depends on the entered list number:
- If you entered a put away from bulk list number (the sub-heading is Put away), then it can be used to get the goods out of the reception area (put away from bulk). This is typically done when a reception has taken place and, instead of having them remain in the bulk area, you want to spread them out throughout the warehouse.
- If you entered a replenishment list number (the sub-heading is Replenishment), then it can be used to replenish (refill) an item assigned location (which can be a primary pick location, secondary pick location, etc.). This is typically done when both the bulk location (reception area) is empty and the item assigned location is empty, but items exist in different locations within the warehouse.
Put away to NCC location
This program can also be used for putting away the following to your NCC location:
- Goods that have been rejected by quality control.
- Batch recall items that have been returned by your customers.
When goods are either rejected, returned, or recalled, all the necessary NCC information is entered into the system. Goods can be placed, e.g. in a common NCC location. This can be either a permanent place to store damaged goods or just a temporary “NCC receiving location”.
If you have an NCC location defined in your warehouse, a put away from bulk can be processed which allows the system to find a suitable location to store the rejected goods until they are shipped back to either the supplier or, e.g. the disposal company.
- Suggestion list
- Enter the Replenishment list number to confirm replenishment suggestions, or enter the Put away from bulk list number to confirm put away from bulk suggestions.
- Line number
- Optional entry. Enter a range of numbers specifying the lines that you want to confirm from the list entered in the Suggestion list field. If you want to confirm a single line, then enter the number in one of the fields; the value will be used for both fields. If no selections are made, then all lines on the suggestion will be used for the confirmation process.
- Item description
- This column displays the item description.
Suggestion confirmation (WMR91802)
Two sub-headings are valid for this panel, depending on the list number entered on the initial panel:
- If a Replenishment list number was entered on the initial panel, then the sub-heading is Replenishment of item assign.
- If a Put away from bulk list number was entered on the initial panel, then the sub-heading is Put-away from bulk.
Depending on the type of confirmation you are doing, the system automatically suggests (defaults) the locations “from which” the quantity is to be taken to refill a location or “to which” the quantity is to be moved into for a put away from bulk confirmation.
If you are working with Replenishment confirmation (refilling an item assigned location), then the locations shown on the panel are retrieved as follows:
- The To locations are retrieved from what you entered in the Replenish to section in the Create replenishment of item assign program. These “To locations” are always item assigned locations.
- The From locations are suggested by the system. These suggested “From locations” are determined from what you entered in the Replenish from section also in the Create replenishment of item assign program. You can, however, override the suggested “From location” and pick the goods from the location you want.
If you are working with Put away from bulk confirmation (moving goods out of a reception area into different locations), then the locations shown on the panel are retrieved as follows:
- The From locations are retrieved from what you entered in the Put away from section in the Create put away from bulk suggestions program.
- The To locations are suggested by the system. These suggested “To locations” are determined according to general put away rules. You can, however, override the suggested “To location” and put the goods in the location you want.
If the item is serial number handled, then the Serial number entry panel will be accessed after you confirm the quantity on this panel, where you select the serial numbers you are moving.

Selection fields
- List number
- Displays the replenishment suggestion list number, or the put away from bulk suggestion list number.
- Warehouse
- Displays the warehouse code.
- Line
- Displays the replenishment suggestion line number, or the put away from bulk suggestion line number.
- Item
- Displays the item for the line.
- Batch
- Displays the batch information if the item is batch controlled.
- P
- Only shown for replenishment suggestions. Indicates (with a “P”) if the suggested quantity should be picked from the suggested pallet even though it is not a full pallet.
- Pallet
- Displays the pallet number and the pallet type for the suggested pallet to be put away or picked for replenishment. Note: This cannot be changed. Pick from different pallets can only be done by marking the + field.
- Order ref
- Only shown if this is a put away from bulk suggestion confirmation and the goods are held due to Quality control or Awaiting costs. Displays the order reference, i.e. the purchase order.
- Zn (To)
- Displays the zone to which the item should be moved. If you click Change location, then this field opens up for input where you can change the zone.
- Location (To)
- Displays the location to which the item should be moved. If you click Change location, then this field opens up for input where you can change the location.
- Sugg. qty
- Displays the suggested quantity for either the replenishment suggestion line or put away from bulk suggestion line.
- Actual qty
- Enter the actual quantity to be moved to zone/location. If the quantity requires decimals, then the decimal sign should be entered along with the decimal amount. A maximum of three decimals is allowed.
- Zn (From)
- Displays the zone from which the item should be moved. If you click Change location, then this field opens up for input where you can change the location.
- Location (From)
- Displays the location from which the item should be moved. If you click Change location, then this field opens up for input where you can change the location.
- +
- If you want to split the quantity on the line and move the item from (i.e. replenishment confirmation) or put the item into several locations (i.e. put away from bulk confirmation), then you have to confirm the lines individually. Mark this field for the applicable line to access the panel where you confirm the location line.
- Line
- Enter the replenishment suggestion line number or the put away from bulk suggestion line number to position in the listing.
Serial number entry (WMR91805)
If the item is serial number handled, then this panel displays the serial number(s) of the selected suggestion line for the location from which you are moving items.
