Maintain component groups in Business Performance Director

Component groups are used to logically categorise the components. The predefined components (KPI’s) come pre-grouped. If you want to change these or add new ones, do as follows:

  1. From the Business Performance Director workspace, select Manage/Component groups.
  2. Click New or select an existing group.
  3. In the Edit component group window define the following:
  4. Code
    Enter the name of this group.
    Description
    Enter the description that will be displayed in the report.
    Display sequence
    The default sequence is by Code. If you want something different, enter the sequence in which the group will be displayed in the report.
    Active
    Select this if you want this new group to be published. This means it will be displayed in the report and will also be available for selection on the component when adding new or changing existing components.

    Click Save.
