The following describes how to retrieve an order structure, where you cannot change component lines. Note: The structure type of the parent item determines if you are able to change component lines during Sales order entry.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 in Retrieve an order structure you can change, but enter a parent item that has a structure type indicating that you cannot change component lines. Click OK.
- You access the Structures panel. (Note: If the parent item is a fictitious item, Order line, main info panel will be displayed before this panel. This is because you always have to enter/confirm the cost price for an order line with a fictitious item.) On this panel you can only change the Quantity, Dispatch date and the Critical status of the parent item in the upper section of the panel. Make your changes and click OK.
You return to the Order lines panel, listing the updated parent and/or component lines (again, depending on the structure type of the parent item).
