Depending on the order status of the IRO sales order and the corresponding IRO purchase order, any changes done to quantities or delivery time will have an impact on both. The tables below describe this impact:
Purchase order changes
Task | Purchase order status | Impact on sales order |
---|---|---|
Delete PO line | Must be less than 30 | Does not delete SO line |
Delay delivery time | Equal to 10 | Updates sales order if status is equal to 10 |
Delay delivery time | Greater than 10 | Does not update sales order |
Reduce quantity | Equal to 10 | Updates sales order if status is equal to 10 |
Reduce quantity | Greater than 10 | Does not update sales order |
Sales order changes
Task | Sales order status | Impact on purchase order |
---|---|---|
Changes to existing line (quantity or delivery time) | Less than or equal to 20 | Updates purchase order if PO status is less than 20 |
Delete SO line | Must be less than 30 | Deletes PO line if PO status is less than 20 |
Add line | Less than or equal to 30 | Creates new IRO purchase order |
