In this enquiry you can search all pricing techniques, i.e. Price lists, Customer contracts and Sales pricing methods, where a price or discount could be applicable for the entered selection criteria. It is useful in seeing and thus controlling how many prices are set up for your customer.

Up to five sales pricing keys can be used as selection criteria and can be run in the following three modes:

Mode	Description
All	Searches all customer or item related key values and requires a partial match with the pricing detail records if a customer or item is entered.
Partial	Searches only entered key values and requires a partial match with the Sales pricing detail records regardless of customer or item related key values even if a customer or item is entered.
Exact	Selected keys must exactly match the keys in the pricing detail records.

Function keys

Change mode

Change the mode in which you want to run the enquiry, choosing between All, Partial and Exact.

Date: Optional entry. If you want to view the pricing techniques used for the selection criteria on a certain date, enter the applicable date. Uses today’s date if left blank.

Key description: Displays all key descriptions that are activated for sales pricing in the DIS control keys table.

Key value: Up to five sales pricing key values can be entered as a selection.

Options

Header	Select this option to view the header information of the selected source type.
Details	Select this option to view the details of the selected source type.

Function keys

Shift info	Toggle between viewing the code and description of the entered selection criteria.
Change mode	Change the mode in which you want to run the enquiry (i.e. switching between modes all, partial or exact).
Change selection	Change the selection parameters.
Customer/Parent	This function key is only displayed if a customer was entered as selection criteria and the customer is a parent and an individual customer in a customer structure. Toggle between viewing the pricing sources for the parent and customer.

Selection fields

The selection fields on this panel can be used separately or in combination with each other. If several fields exist on your panel, then the first field is always a positioning field.

The following selection types exist in tables, enquiries and files:

Positioning
Used to display the sequential list, starting with the character or value that you have entered.

If only one positioning field exists on your panel, then it can be used in two ways. If you enter part of the value/code, the field will function as a positioning field. If you enter a complete value/code, the field will function as a direct access to that record.

Note: 'Work with' programs never give you a direct access.
Exact match
Used to narrow down the number of records in a list. Only records that are equal to the value you have entered will be displayed.
Search
Used to find a specific record in a list. Enter a search argument consisting of one or several characters. All records that hold the search argument that you have entered will be displayed.

Note: This selection type is primarily used for description-related fields (free text fields combining upper and lower case letters).

Date: Displays the entered date or today’s date.

Key value: Displays the sales pricing key value(s) selected on the previous panel.

Src type: Displays the pricing source retrieved for the entered details.

MT: Where the source type is sales pricing method, this column displays the method type.

Source: Displays the name of the source type (i.e. the number of the contract, the name of the method or price list code).

Description: Displays the description of the source type (i.e. the number of the contract, the name of the method or price list code).

Method type description: Displays the description of the method type.
