This panel can be accessed in three different modes. If you selected the Add option from the initial Work with reports panel (RWRD10001) no fields will be completed since you are in Add mode. If you accessed this panel via the Change option all fields can be changed except the Report key field. If you entered this panel via the Display option no fields can be maintained.

On this panel you enter information concerning the overall appearance of the report. Some information concerns only letter-quality printers, and what is not valid for the printer you use, will be ignored at printout.

Click OK when you have completed all the information.

Report
This field can only be maintained in Add mode. Enter the name for the new report you are creating.
Report class
This field is used to classify reports, and is only for informational purposes. Enter any text to define the class this report belongs to.
Description
Enter the description of the report. For an existing one the description can be changed.
Report type
Enter the type of the report you are creating. For an existing one the code can be changed.

Valid codes are:

  1. Version report which is largely predefined in layout, based on the structure of your key fields. This kind of report is mainly used when the files are logically structured.
  2. Line report which consists of lines that you set up and define yourself, regardless of the structure of your files.
Lines per page
Enter the number of lines per page that can be printed on the type of paper you use. Generally, this is the same as the system normally uses, however, you can choose another format.
First line
Enter the line number where the first line should be printed. This line number must be less than the line number you state as Last line.
Last line
Enter the line number where the last line should be printed on each page. The figure must not exceed the value for Lines per page and must be at least 20 lines larger than First line.
Lines per inch
Enter the number of lines per inch for your report. Permitted values are 4, 6, 8 and 9 depending on the printer you use.
Characters per inch
Enter the number of characters per inch for your report. Permitted values are 5, 10, 12, 15, and 16.7 depending on the printer you use.

Number of copies
Enter the number of copies you want of the report. This number will be defaulted in the Number of copies field when you order printout of the report.
Form
Enter the paper type for the report. You can enter a character value, or the code *STD. The stated value informs the printer to change paper type if the paper type of the previous print-job deviates from the one selected for your report.
Print all breaks
Set this field to YES if the break levels that have not been established should also be printed. The break levels in DC1 Financials are set up in the Account file or Summary identity file as heading accounts or heading summary id’s. The break levels in DC1 Distribution are created in the Break level text table. Any break level that is missing in these files will be printed with a question mark (?) instead of the text if all breaks shall be printed. Set this field to NO if only those break levels that exist should be printed. This is only valid for reports of type 1, so for reports of type 2 leave this field blank.
Default version
Enter the default version to be used when you print the report. This field is only valid for summary reports.
Percentage limit 1 (2) (3)
To facilitate analysis of the report, you can state three percentage limits for deviations. A marking, which you define below, will be made on the line where the value, which is always a percentage, exceeds the limit. The column where the marking is made, must be defined as column type 23 (budget achieved %) or 43 (forecast deviation %), and it must have edit code 81. The deviation is compared with your limit, regardless of the deviation sign. Percentage limits shall be stated in whole numbers, and percentage limit 1 shall be defined as the smallest deviation.
Percentage marking 1 (2) (3)
Enter the marking to be made where the value exceeds the different percentage limits.
Reverse sign
Set this field to YES if you want reverse signs on values, e.g. positive values will be printed as negative values, and vice versa.
Print quality
Enter 1 for a printout of draft quality, and 2 for a printout of near-letter-quality (or letter-quality if you have that kind of printer).
Drawer
Enter the number of the drawer from which the printer paper should be taken.
Font
Enter the type-face number, if the report should be printed with a special font. You must, however, select a font that corresponds to the CPI value you have chosen.
Rotation
Enter a degree to determine the rotation angle of the paper you will use for the printout. Permissible values are 0, 90, 180 and 270. You can also enter *DEVD, meaning that the hardware configuration switches in the 3812 printer are used to determine the page rotation, or *COR, meaning computer output reduction is done.
Suppress line
Set this field to YES if you want lines without value in any of the columns to be suppressed (not printed).
