Sales and operation plan enquiry, Included items (RSP201H)

This panel displays the items that are included in the sales and operation plan. The item data is used in the SOP calculation.

You can retrieve the item data automatically from DC1 Inventory Control or from DC1 Demand Plan by running the Sales and operation plan, Creation batch job. In that case only active items, i.e. items that are included in the retrieved forecast, are included and displayed on this panel.

If no items have been retrieved you can generate the item data manually from this panel. Through this function all items that belong to the selected item group, item family, item sector or department section will be included in the sales and operation plan and displayed on this panel.

If you plan to use the SOP to update the Inventory forecast in DC1 Inventory Control, you must enter a weight value for the included items. This value indicates the amount to be produced and may refer to any method of measurement (quantity, weight, etc.). The entered values make up the total value of the sales and operation plan period.

Selection fields

The selection fields on this panel can be used separately or in combination with each other. If several fields exist on your panel, then the first field is always a positioning field.

The following selection types exist in tables, enquiries and files:

  • Positioning
    Used to display the sequential list, starting with the character or value that you have entered.

    If only one positioning field exists on your panel, then it can be used in two ways. If you enter part of the value/code, the field will function as a positioning field. If you enter a complete value/code, the field will function as a direct access to that record.

    Note: 'Work with' programs never give you a direct access.

  • Exact match
    Used to narrow down the number of records in a list. Only records that are equal to the value you have entered will be displayed.

  • Search
    Used to find a specific record in a list. Enter a search argument consisting of one or several characters. All records that hold the search argument that you have entered will be displayed.

    Note: This selection type is primarily used for description-related fields (free text fields combining upper and lower case letters).

SOP
The code and description that identify the selected sales and operation plan.
Id
The code and description that identify the selected SOP id.

Item
The code and description that identify the item that is included in the SOP.
Whs
The warehouse in which the item is stored.
Weight
This value indicates how much is to be produced of the item for this sales and operation plan. The entered weight values make up the total value of the sales and operation plan period. Note: This value may refer to any method of measurement (quantity, weight, etc.).
Pct
The percentage value indicates the item’s part of the total weight of the sales and operation plan period.
