The purpose of this program is to update or create Product costing enquiry and History file. You can also update the Standard cost price and the Base sales price on items.
Updating to the Product costing enquiry file is always done for the selected parent item and for all sub-assembly items that are included in the structure.

- The date indicates when the right prices and overhead were retrieved.
- Item cost type
- The code indicates from where the component prices have been retrieved during the product costing calculation.

- Work centre price
- The code indicates from where the work centres prices have been retrieved during the product costing calculation.
Code Description 1 Standard 2 Actual 3 Simulation
- Upd base sales price
- This field is only displayed if the user has authority to update sales prices from product costing. Indicates if Base sales price should be updated with the new calculated value. Note: This field can only be set to YES if Item cost type and Work centre price are set according to the MFG control file and no changes have been made on materials or operations during the product calculation.
- Base sales price
- This field is only displayed if the user has authority to update sales prices from product costing. The calculated base sales price which can be manually changed.
- Simulation name
- The name of the product costing simulation. Only displayed, and mandatory entry, if Item cost price or Work centre price are set to different values than the MFG control file set-up or when changes have been made to materials or operations in the product calculation.
