Product costing enquiry, Bill of material (BAS204D)

The purpose of this program is to get an overview of all included material and costs for an item. You can also view the details for a sub-assembly by using the Next level option.

Options

Next level Select this option to get an overview of made product costing. Note: This is only allowed to use for items with item type 1 or 2.
Equations Select this option to display performed equations and values for an item.

Function keys

Operations View the operations that are connected to the parent item.
Item
Cost period
The period on the product costing. If the period is 000000, this means that it is the current product costing.
Warehouse
Variant
Cost type
The description indicates if the product costing is current, future or a simulation costing type.
Struct quant
Price type
The price type indicates what prices have been used for the product costing.
Std quant PC
The quantity that was used when the product costing was performed.
Struct unit
Seq no
Component item
The code that identifies the item that is included as a component in the bill of material.
Quantity
The quantity in stock unit, displayed in up to 3 decimal, of components included in the bill of material.
Set-up quantity
The fixed set-up quantity for materials. This set-up quantity can be deemed as an estimated reservation that you plan on consuming for the machine set-up before real production, and is independent of the order’s quantity. When manufacturing orders are entered, the components required quantity is calculated as follows: order quantity x component quantity + fixed set-up quantity.

Example:
Fixed set-up quantity = 10
Order quantity = 5
Component quantity = 1
Component required quantity = 15

Line amount
The calculated cost for a component item presented in system currency for one parent item unit.
