Block order maintenance (PRO016B)

The purpose of this program is to maintain the information for block orders.

Block order
The block order number. If the field is left blank, the highest existing number plus one will become the new block order number.
Status
The code indicates the status of the block order.

Valid codes are:

Code Description
10 Ready
40 Order created
60 Closed
Item
Mandatory entry. The item to be manufactured in the block order.
Warehouse
Mandatory entry.

If the STKOWNER (Stock Ownership) function is activated in the Function control file, the warehouse entered must be classified as a normal or trade (logical) warehouse (i.e. the Warehouse characteristic flag in Work with warehouses must be set to 1 (normal) or 2 (trade). Order type
Total quant
Mandatory entry. The total quantity to be produced. When created quantity is equal to or greater than this value, status is automatically set to 60.
Planner
The planner of the created manufacturing orders.
Order quant
The order quantity to be used for the created manufacturing orders. If this value is zero the proposal value will be one EOQ adjusted with multiple quantity at creation.
Created qty
The value of the total created manufacturing order quantity for all manufacturing orders connected to the block order.
Produced qty
The total quantity that has been produced from the block order.
Order freq
The code indicates the frequency with which the manufacturing orders should be created for the block order. This code is used in the creation of manufacturing orders from the Work with block order panel using the Create orders function key or the batch creation function.

Disp check
Indicates if disposal check should be made. Disposal check is a value that in combination with order frequency is used when you create orders from the Work with block order panel, or via the batch function. If this field is set to YES, a disposal check is made for the item’s planning time. If the disposal quantity is less than one ROP at the planning time end date an order will be created. If this field is set to NO, an order will be created.
Valid from
Mandatory entry. The first possible date indicating when creation of manufacturing orders is possible. The date is not possible to change if status is 40 or 60.
Last start
The start date for the last existing manufacturing order connected to the block order. Note: This field does not refer to the last created manufacturing order, but to the order with the start date that is furthest in the future.
Valid to
Mandatory entry. The last possible date for creation of manufacturing orders.
Last order
The order number of the last started manufacturing order for the block order.
Customer
The customer that is connected to the block order.
Description
The description of the block order. This information will only be available in maintenance and enquiry of the block order.
