If the STKOWNER (Stock Ownership) function is activated in the Function control file, the warehouse entered must be classified as a normal or trade (logical) warehouse (i.e. the Warehouse characteristic flag in Work with warehouses must be set to 1 (normal) or 2 (trade). See About the stock ownership functionality for more information.

The order type defines:
- what order status the order will receive
- if order network will be created
- how the reporting of material and operation is to be handled
Initially the order type is set from Work with DC1 user profiles.

Note: This field is blank if the function is called from the Sales order module. You can also enter the optional start time of the manufacturing order in the textbox beside the Start date textbox, when the order is planned to be started. This textbox is only displayed if the MPL-TIME (Plan operation by date/time) function is activated in the Function control file. The start time cannot not be greater than 24 and less than 0. Moreover, the decimal (minutes) also should not be greater than 59.

Note: This is the dispatch date if the function is called from Sales order module. You can also enter the optional completion time in the textbox beside the Compl date textbox, when the order is planned to be completed. This textbox is only displayed if the MPL-TIME (Plan operation by date/time) function is activated in the Function control file. The completion time cannot not be greater than 24 and less than 0. Moreover, the decimal (minutes) also should not be greater than 59.
- Maint order
- Indicates if the created manufacturing order should be maintained.
