The purpose of this program is to work with pull-planning re-schedule analysis proposals. This program displays selected items according to the current proposal. For each item, the system will indicate if forward or backward scheduling is required. This indication is determined accordingly:
- If the quantity on hand is below the safety stock, the analysis proposes that you reschedule the manufacturing or purchase order backwards. This means that the delivery date is changed to an earlier date.
- If there is a surplus the analysis proposes that you reschedule the order forwards. This means that the manufacturing or purchase order is deleted.
