If you accessed this program via the Work with time transactions menu item, time transactions per engineer are displayed on this panel. The panel will then have the Time transactions subheading.
If the program was called from the Work with service orders, Service order jobs panel, time transactions per order job are displayed.
This panel displays the time transactions that have been entered into the system. The time transactions will be copied over to the service order at the time of service order job close. If start/stop transactions are used the system will automatically calculate the different time rates depending on the time rule matrix.
Note: You are not allowed to change or delete time transactions when time registration is completed (Finished is set to YES).
If the service order job is closed, the panel is only displayed in enquiry mode.

Selection fields
- Engineer
- Displays the selected engineer that you are working with.
- Order/job
- Displays the order and job number you are working with.
- Date
- Indicates the date for which the time transaction is reported.
- Serv order
- Displays the service order number to which the time transaction relates.
- Job
- Displays the job number within the service order to which the time transaction relates.
- Engineer
- Displays the engineer of the service order to which the time transaction relates.
- Service item
- This code from the Item file indicates the service item for which time transactions are entered.
- Start
- Indicates the start time of the time transaction.
- Stop
- Indicates the stop time of the time transaction.
- Break
- Indicates the break time in minutes.
- Quantity
- Indicates the quantity defined on the related service order.
- Debit
- This column lists a code from the Debit code table for each work for which time transactions are entered indicating that the work is internal. If the column is blank, the work is considered to be external. Note: If the debit code is changed at the time of service close, the corresponding time transactions will be changed accordingly.
- Fin
- Indicates if the time transactions for the service order job or engineer are completed.
Work with time transactions, Time transaction (SOR42004)
On this panel you can add or maintain a time transaction; either for an engineer or for a service order job. This depends on from where you accessed the program.
- Engineer
- Displays the selected engineer that you want to add or maintain time transactions for.
- Order/job
- Displays the order and job number for which you are adding or maintaining time transactions.
- Date
- Indicate the date for which the time transaction is being reported.

- Enter the engineer to which the time transaction relates.
- Service order
- Enter the service order number to which the time transaction relates.
- Job
- Enter the job number within the service order to which the time transaction relates. The service order must be open. It is also possible to enter time transactions without referring to a specific service order. This is only applicable for service items of type Time only. Note: If a service job is closed, i.e. all lines and time transactions are closed for the job, new time transactions may not to be entered.
- Service item
- Enter a code from the Item file. The item must be of type service item group with time registration allowed. This is defined in the Service item group table. If the service item group is defined with Hours set to YES, the service item must exist in the Service item split table.
- Start
- Mandatory entry if the entered service item group is defined with Hours set to YES. If set to NO, start and stop are not allowed. Enter the start time of the time transaction. Valid entries are between 00.00 and 24.00.
- Stop
- Mandatory entry if the entered service item group is defined with Hours set to YES. If set to NO, start and stop are not allowed. Enter the stop time of the time transaction. Valid entries are between 00.00 and 24.00. Stop time must be greater than start time.
- Break
- Break time is only allowed if the entered service item group is defined with Hours set to YES. Enter the break time in minutes.
- Quantity
- Quantity is only allowed if the entered service item group is defined with Quantity set to YES. Enter a quantity in this field.
- Debit
- Enter a code from the Debit code table to indicate that the work is internal. If you leave the field blank, the work is considered to be external. Note: If the debit code is changed at the time of service close, the corresponding time transactions will be changed accordingly.
- Finished
- Indicate if the time transactions for the service order job or engineer are completed. Note: When one time transaction for the service order job is set to completed, the remaining transactions are set to completed as well.
Work with time transactions, Deletion (SOR42005)
You can only delete time transaction entries which are not completed and if the related service order is not closed.
