From this panel you maintain the values (one or several) for the selected checklist criterion. These values are the driving force behind checklist handling and determine, amongst other things, the minimum/maximum level, the type of validation (optional or mandatory) and the type of entry fields displayed during checklist reporting. If the values are defined as mandatory and they are not met or are not entered during checklist reporting, you will not be able to close the service job.

DC1 delivers a plug-in program (SOR990) with the system. When this program is added to a criterion value and the checklist is reported, the program gets executed. The program uses Checklist Id, Item, Serial number, Criteria code, Criteria value code and signed user as inputs.

The plug-in program by default returns signed on user as a value but if on installation you want to use another plug-in program to return some other value, you’ll need to create a new plug-in program using the Template program as a base. Parameter list to the new program must be the same as in the template program.

Validation program
Enter the external validation program to manage validation of selected checklist criteria.

DC1 delivers a validation program (SOR991) for Checklist reporting. When this program is added to a criteria value, and the checklist is reported, the program will be executed. The program uses the Checklist Id, Item, Serial number, Criteria code and Signed user as input. As output it returns a message Id and a return code. An authority check control can be implemented for the following two preloaded values:

  • Authority group = Checklist
  • Authority routine = Report

If you want to use the validation program delivered with DC1, you can allow/prevent users from doing the checklist reporting into the final status by setting up the authority control for the above-mentioned authority group and routine. Note: The checklist report may always be saved as incomplete by a user who does not have authority to finalize the reporting, but a user who has been granted authority must finalize the checklist reporting and close the job.
