Work with day schemes, Day scheme details maintenance (TME015B)

Related topics

In this program you maintain a day scheme. You can add, change, or copy records. When you copy a day scheme the overtime intervals, overlapping intervals, clocking zones and day total calculation rules are also copied.

Click OK to access the second part of the panel where you can maintain the rules for time rounding and overtime.

Function keys

Day scheme
Enter a new day scheme. For existing records in Maintenance mode, this field cannot be changed.
Exp presence
Only shown in Maintenance mode. Indicates the expected presence for the day scheme. This is calculated by the system using the from/to values entered in Working hours minus Lunch and/or Break 1/2.
Description
Enter a description of the day scheme.
Scheme type
Indicate the type of day scheme to be used. The following codes are valid:

Code Description
1 Normal scheme with fixed working hours.
2 Scheme with floating working hours.
3 Absence scheme. This type of scheme can be used for planned absence.

From/To

Enter a start time/end time for the following fields:

Scheme
Enter the total time covered by the day scheme.
Working hours
Enter the expected work hours in the day scheme. For a scheme of type 3 (Absence scheme), this field is used to specify the absence hours that will be calculated when the scheme is used.
Flexitime/Start
Enter the flexitime interval at the start of the day.
Flexitime/End
Enter the flexitime interval at the end of the day.
Flexitime/Lunch
Enter the flexitime interval for lunch.
Lunch
Enter the standard lunch time. If you are not clocking for lunch, the lunch break will be set equal to the standard lunch time. If you are clocking for lunch and flexitime is defined, then the difference between standard time and clocked time for lunch is counted as flexitime.
Break 1
Enter the interval for a break.
Break 2
Enter the interval for a break. Note: If the interval starts the day before the day described by the day scheme, enter a minus sign (-) in the date code. If the interval ends the day after the day described by the scheme, enter a plus sign (+) in the date code.

Wage type

Enter a type from Work with wage types for the following fields:

Scheme
Enter a wage type for presence outside working hours.
Working hours
Enter the wage type for presence inside working hours. For a scheme of type 3 (Absence scheme), enter the wage type for absence.
Flexitime/Start
Mandatory entry if flexitime intervals are defined for the start/end of the day or for lunch. Enter the wage type for flexitime.
Maximum lunch time
Mandatory entry if the maximum lunch time limit has been specified. Enter a wage type for time exceeding the maximum lunch time limit.
Reduce presence
This field is only relevant if From/To values have been entered for Break 1 or Break 2. Indicate if the break time should reduce the presence time. Note: This code does not influence the calculation of manufacturing times. If the break is inside the start and stop times, then the break time always reduces the manufacturing time.
Maximum lunch time
Enter the maximum time for lunch break in hours with two decimals. If clocked time for lunch break is greater than the maximum time, the lunch break will be set equal to the maximum time.
Minimum lunch time
Enter the minimum time for lunch break in hours with two decimals. If clocked time for lunch break is less than the minimum time, the lunch break will be set equal to the minimum time.
