In this program you maintain parameters for a terminal that is a Windows client. This data controls the behaviour of the client and is retrieved when the client is started.
Function keys

- Terminal
- Displays the terminal ID.
- Process
- Enter the name of the process, from the Process selection window, that is to receive the messages sent from the terminal.
- Time reporting only
- Indicate if the terminal is used for time reporting only. YES means that the Dispatch list is not available for this terminal.
- Startup program
- Indicate the program that should be started when the terminal is started according to the following:

- Use IN/OUT
- Indicate if special characters representing IN and OUT should precede the card number when clocking in or out.
- Use keyboard
- Indicate if the keyboard is used on the terminal.
- Code for IN
- Mandatory entry if Use IN/OUT is YES. Enter the character indicating IN.
- Code for OUT
- Mandatory entry if Use IN/OUT is YES. Enter the character indicating OUT.
- Work centre from/to
- Enter the work centres for which operation data is to be retrieved to the terminal by entering an interval of work centre codes. Another way is to create a list of work centres by using the Valid work centres function key.
- Actual work centre
- Enter a code for the default work centre of the terminal, i.e., which operation list will be displayed by default when starting the Dispatch list.
Intervals:
- Refresh production
- Enter the time in minutes for how often production data (i.e. operation list and related information) is to be retrieved from the iSeries.
- Retrieve system time
- Enter the time in minutes for how often system date and time is to be retrieved from the iSeries. Note: If the field is left blank or with a zero, the system date and time are not retrieved from the iSeries.
- Nbr of future days
- Enter the number of future days for retrieving production data.
Times:
- Go offline
- Enter the time in hours and minutes when the terminal is to go offline.
- Go online
- Enter the time in hours and minutes when the terminal is to go online.
- Refresh database
- Enter the time in hours and minutes when the whole local database should be refreshed. You can specify up to five different times.
- Reboot machine
- Enter the time in hours and minutes when the PC terminal is to reboot.
- Restart machine
- Enter the time in hours and minutes when the Time client program is to restart at this terminal.
