Work with suggestion priorities (WMR02101)

This panel displays the existing suggestion priority codes. The suggestion priority codes can, for example, be used to divide the warehouse into different areas, such as:

  • Sales order picking area.
  • Replenishment area – not allowed for picking sales orders or manufacturing orders.
  • Component area – available for sales orders and manufacturing orders.
  • Security stock area for components – only available for manufacturing orders.

Selection fields

Priority
This column lists the existing suggestion priority codes.
Description
This column lists the descriptions of the suggestion priority codes.
Pick sales order
Indicates if the locations that are defined with the pick priority are available for picking for sales orders (pick suggestion).
Pick MFG order
Indicates if the locations that are defined with the pick priority are available for picking for manufacturing orders (kitting list).
Repl item assign loc
Indicates if the locations that are defined with the pick priority are available for replenishment of item assigned locations (item assigned replenishment suggestion).
Repl component loc
Indicates if the locations that are defined with the pick priority are available for replenishment of component locations (component location replenishment suggestion).
Put away
Indicates if the locations that are defined with the put away priority are available for put away (reception note and put away from bulk).
Transit
Only shown if BtB feature is YES in the DIS control file. Indicates if the transit locations that are defined with the put away priority are available for transit put away (reception note and put away from bulk).
Cross docking
If the code is used as a pick priority, then this column indicates if the locations that are defined with this priority are available for picking of cross docked items. If the code is used as a put away priority, then this column indicates if the locations that are defined with this priority are available for put away for cross docking needs.

On this panel you define the priorities for the locations in the warehouse. You can set up priorities mainly for picking, putting and cross docking, or a combination. The suggestion priority codes can, for example, be used to divide the warehouse into different areas, such as:

  • Sales order picking area.
  • Replenishment area – not allowed for picking sales orders or manufacturing orders.
  • Component area – available for sales orders and manufacturing orders.
  • Security stock area for components – only available for manufacturing orders.

The priority code must be a number in the range 100-899.
Description

Pick priority

Pick sales order
Indicate if the locations that are defined with this pick priority are available for picking for sales orders (pick suggestion).
Pick MFG order
Indicate if the locations that are defined with this pick priority are available for picking for manufacturing orders (kitting list).
Repl item assign loc
Indicate if the locations that are defined with this pick priority are available for replenishment of item assigned locations (item assigned replenishment suggestion).
Repl component loc
Indicate if the locations that are defined with this pick priority are available for replenishment of component locations (component location replenishment suggestion).

Put away priority

Put away
Indicate if the locations that are defined with this put away priority are available for put away (reception note and put away from bulk).
Transit
Only shown if BtB feature is YES in the DIS control file. Indicate if the transit locations that are defined with the put away priority are available for transit put away (reception note and put away from bulk) during put away suggestion creation.

Pick/put priority

Cross docking
If the code is used as a pick priority, then indicate if the locations that are defined with this priority are available for picking of cross docked items. If the code is used as a put away priority, then indicate if the locations that are defined with this priority are available for put away for cross docking needs.
