This panel displays the item balance in the different pick units, which have been defined for the item and location type. The location balance, the reserved quantity, the quantity on hold and the available quantity are converted into the preferred pick units. Multiple pick units can be defined for one item/location type, which is done on the Location types panel in the Item file.
- Item
- Displays the item that occupies the location.
- Batch
- Displays the batch code for the item that occupies the location if it is under batch control.
- Warehouse
- Displays the warehouse in which the item is stored.
- Zone & location
- Displays the zone and location where the item is stored.
- Loc/item quantity
- Only shown for item balance in stock unit. Displays the item quantity in stock unit in this location. If the unit is equal to the D/E-unit for the item, this quantity could display two units in the same quantity field. The partial units could be displayed with decimal positions for the Display/entry unit or by a dual display/entry of both the Display/entry unit and the Stock unit separated by a user-defined delimiter. - Unit
- Displays the stock unit for the item that occupies the location.
Preferred pick units
The fields below display the calculated data in order to select the best suitable pick unit.
- Unit
- Displays the preferred pick unit for the selected item and location type.
- Loc/item quantity
- Displays the quantity on hand calculated for the preferred pick unit.
- Reserved for pick
- Displays the reserved quantity calculated for the preferred pick unit.
- Available
- Displays the quantity available in this location calculated for the preferred pick unit.
- On hold
- If the item is held due to a batch reason, then this column heading indicates the reason:
- Expired
- Not incubated
- Held in batch
For all other reasons, the column heading is On hold. Displays the quantity on hold in this location calculated for the preferred pick unit. If an item or a batch is on hold, then the Available field will display 0 (zero).
