On this panel you can view information about pallets per warehouse. The warehouse defined for your user profile is defaulted to the header. You can change the warehouse to work with by clicking Select warehouse.
Options
Display | Select this option to view details about the pallet. |

Selection fields
Note: When selecting on a pallet number that has been released in stock units, i.e. the pallet number no longer exists, the system will search on history level and display the History panel.
- Warehouse
- Displays the warehouse that has been selected for the enquiry and its description.
- Zone
- This column lists the zones in the selected warehouse where pallets exist.
- Location
- This column lists the locations in the selected warehouse where pallets exist.
- Pallet
- This column lists the numbers of the pallets that exist in the selected warehouse.
- Item description
- Displays the description of the item that occupies the location on the corresponding pallet.
- Quantity
- Displays the quantity on hand for the pallet in the location.
- Par
- Indicates if the pallet is partial in the location. YES indicates that there is a difference between Quantity in pallet and Quantity in available, e.g. a partial quantity has been picked from this pallet.
- Hld
- Indicates if the pallet is being held. The pallet quantity is on hold, i.e. not available for sale. The hold is reflected in the Warehouse location/Item balance and Time axis enquiries.
- Item
- Displays the item code.
Work with pallets, Details (WMR63204)
This panel displays the details of the selected pallet.
Function keys
History | View the pallet’s history details on zone/location level, e.g. the pallet movements. |
- Warehouse
- Displays the warehouse that has been selected for the enquiry and its description.
- Pallet
- Displays the pallet number for the selected pallet in stock.
- Item
- Displays the item that occupies the location.
- Item description
- Displays the item description.
- Zone/location
- Displays the zone and location where the item is stored.
- NCC
- Displays the non-conformity certificate number.
- Order ref
- Displays the order reference number for balance on hold or in transit. The reference number can refer to either a purchase or a manufacturing order number.
- Batch
- Displays the batch ID for the item that occupies the location, if it is under batch control.
- On hold
- Indicates if the item is on hold.
- Transit balance
- Indicates if the item is in transit.
- Awaiting cost
- Indicates if the item is awaiting cost check.
- Awaiting QC
- Indicates if the item is under quality control.
- Unit
- Displays the stock unit for the item that occupies the location.
- Pallet type
- Displays the pallet type for the pallet that is stored in this location.
- Pallet qty on hand
- Only shown for pallet balance. Displays the quantity on hand for the pallet in this location.
- Quantity available
- Only shown for pallet balance. Displays the available quantity for the pallet in this location (Pallet qty on hand – Res. for pick).
Note: The available quantity will be displayed as zeros in the following cases:
- Pallet is on hold
- Location has a stock category with quantity type 1, 2 or 3
- The item is batch controlled and has expired, or the batch is on hold
- Res. for pick
- Two types of values are displayed in this field.
- For stock unit balance: Displays the quantity in stock unit that has been reserved on the pick list.
- For pallet balance: Displays the quantity on the pallet that has been reserved on the pick list.
- Free space (qty)
- Two types of values are displayed in this field.
- For stock unit balance: Displays the free space for the item in stock unit in this location.
- For pallet balance: Displays the free space in number of pallets based on the value entered in the Loc/Pallet capacity field.
- Loc/Pallet capacity
- Only shown for pallet balance. Displays a value indicating the capacity of the location regarding the pallet type. This is defined on the Location size assignments panel in Work with pallet types.
- Quantity in pallet
- Only shown for pallet balance. Displays a value indicating the quantity for the pallet when it was created.
- Stock category
- Displays a code from Work with stock categories indicating the stock category that has been assigned to the location. Item quantities in the location can then be viewed differently by DC1 than regular inventory, based on the definition of the associated quantity type(s). This allows the creation of locations that may contain item quantities that are on hold, damaged, unsellable, etc.
- Last put-away date
- Displays the last put-away date in this location.
- Stock take
- Displays the status of the stock take which is being performed against this location. No pick or put away to the location is possible before the stock take is finished. The system automatically updates this information.
Code Description BLANK Item is not under stock take. 1 The item is on a stock take list. No pick or put away suggestions can be produced for this item when the stock status is 1. When the Stock take update routine is run, code 1 will change back to blank. 9 If the Suspend if needed field was set to YES on the Stock take list printout: The item is suspended because there is an open activity (pick list) for the item in the location. This item is not included on the stock take list printout. No more activities can take place for the item in the location until the item has been counted.
The suspended item will be included on the stock take list when the open activity has stopped. (Set the Suspended only field to YES if you only want suspended items to be printed on the new stock take list). When the list is printed, the stock take status will be reset to 1 (Item is under stock take). When the item has been counted and the stock take list is updated, the stock take status will be reset to blank (Item is not under stock take).
Note: The Update stock take transactions routine only resets the status on items that are available on a stock take list, i.e. not with status 9.
- Location type
- Displays the location type that is used in this location.
- Stock take list
- Displays the stock take list number, if stock take is currently being performed against the location. The system automatically updates this information.
- Pick priority
- Displays a pick priority code (100-899) which is used to establish the priority in which this location should be considered for picking. A pick priority of 100 identifies this location as a primary pick location. Movements to a primary pick location will only be allowed for locations reserved by item.
- Put-away priority
- Displays a put away priority code (100-899) which is used to establish the priority in which this location should be considered for item put away (Goods reception). Locations with a put away priority of 100 will be the first considered for item put away.
Work with pallets, History (WMR63211)
From this panel you can view the history details of the selected pallet. The detail panel displays information about what has happened with the pallet, such as location movements, receptions, picks, etc. Note: Only movements for DC1 Warehouse Management items are shown.

Work with pallets, History (WMR63214)
This panel displays the history details of the selected pallet on zone/location level, such as the connected purchase order and line numbers and location movements. This information is useful, if a pallet is released in stock units and the pallet number can no longer be found in the Location balance file.
- Warehouse
- Displays the warehouse that has been selected for the enquiry and its description.
- Pallet
- Displays the pallet number for the selected pallet.
- Item
- Displays the item that occupies the location.
- Item description
- Displays the item description.
- Zone/location
- Displays the zone and location where the item is stored.
- Batch
- Displays the batch code for the item that occupies the location if the item is under batch control.
- NCC
- Displays the non-conformity certificate number, if applicable
- Transit balance
- Indicates if the item is in transit.
- Order reference
- Displays the order reference number and line. An order reference number is only displayed if the Transit balance, Awaiting QC and/or Awaiting costs fields are set to YES for the transaction of the item. Displays the purchase order number. For transit orders it can also be the manufacturing order.
- Awaiting QC
- Indicates if the item is under quality control.
- Awaiting costs
- Indicates if the item is awaiting cost for landed cost.
- Loc qty before
- Displays the item quantity on the location before the transaction was made.
- Unit
- Displays the stock unit for the item that occupies the location.
- Transaction quantity
- Displays the transaction quantity.
- Loc qty after
- Displays the quantity in the location after the transaction was made.
- Inventory event
- Displays a code from Work with inventory event codes indicating the inventory event that created the transaction.
- Description
- Displays the description, from Work with inventory event codes, of the inventory event that created the transaction. For internal movements the description would be Stock move.
- Order number
- Displays the order number that created this transaction. The order number will not be shown for inventory transactions, inventory movements, replenishment of location, and put away from bulk.
- Order line number
- Displays the order line within the order that created the transaction. The order line number will not be shown for inventory transactions, inventory movements, replenishment of location, and put away from bulk.
- Creation date
- Displays the date when this transaction was created.
- Creation time
- Displays the time when this transaction was created.
- User
- Displays the user profile ID of the user who ran this transaction.
Work with pallets, Origin info (WMR63215)
This panel displays the details of the pallet from when it was originally created.
- Pallet number
- Displays the selected pallet number.
- Pallet type
- Displays the pallet type.
- Item
- Displays the item code of the pallet.
- Batch
- Displays the batch number of the item if it is under batch control.
- On hold
- Indicates if the pallet is on hold. NO indicates that the pallet is available for sale.
- PO number
- Displays the purchase order number of the pallet when it was delivered to the warehouse.
- PO line number
- Displays the purchase order line number of the pallet when it was delivered to the warehouse.
- Creation date
- Displays the date when the pallet was received in the warehouse.
- Creation time
- Displays the time when the pallet was received in the warehouse.
- Created by user
- Displays the user profile ID of the user who created the transaction when the pallet was received in the warehouse.
