The profit margin calculation is done at Sales order line entry, Quotation line entry, Sales order profit enquiry and Sales quotation profit enquiry, and is calculated from the net sales value, cost value and exchange rate records. If you give FOC items, it affects the profit margins. You can choose to include or exclude FOC item lines in the profit values. In the sales order profit enquiry and Sales quotation profit enquiry, a sales restriction check will only be performed for those restrictions with profit limit conditions.
To view profit information access the following:
- Sales order profit enquiry: This is accessed via the Sales order enquiry. Click the Profit function key on the Order header and Detailed order line panels. Click the function key to include or exclude FOC items while calculating profit values.
- Sales quotation profit enquiry: This is accessed via the Sales quotation enquiry. Click the Profit function key on the Quotation header and Detailed line panels. Click the function key to include or exclude FOC items while calculating profit values.
