Enter information about insurance policy

Information about insurance policies are used in the Asset file, where entries are made whenever assets are covered by an insurance policy. Note: You can link several assets to the same policy. However, a policy can be entered only to collect all policies in one place, without connecting it to any specific asset.

  1. Select the Work with insurance policies menu item.
  2. On the main panel, click Add to enter information for a new insurance policy.
  3. You access the detail panel. The following fields are relevant:
  4. Insurance policy
    Enter a unique code to identify the new record you are creating.
    Insurance company
    Mandatory entry. Enter the number of the insurance company.
    If DC1 Financials is installed, then the number must exist as a supplier number in the Business partner file. The system then automatically generates an entry for this company in Work with insurance companies.
    If DC1 Financials is not installed, then the company must already exist in Work with insurance companies.
    Description
    Mandatory entry. Enter a description for the insurance policy.

    Click OK. You may continue to add new entries or you can go back to the previous panel to see all entries. Exit the routine.
