The following describes how you access information about quotations headers and quotation lines.
Note: Before you use the product enquiry routine, make sure that you familiarise yourself with the standard routine for object enquiry described in About working with objects in DC1 Analyser.
Viewing quotation information
In order to view quotation information, do as follows:
- Select the Sales quotations menu item in the Supply Chain Analysis sub-menu, Object categories list or the All functions list.
- You access the Sales quotation browser window.
- Sales quotation
- Enter the quotation number.
- Customer
- Enter the customer code.
- Handler
- Enter the handler code.
- Salesperson
- Enter the salesperson.
- Version
- Enter the version.
- Type
- Enter the type.
- You view the results of the search in the table list in the Sales quotation browser window.
- Either, select the quotation and choose Select or Select menu item table entry.
- Or, click the quotation with the right mouse button to view the Quotation pop up menu and choose Sales quotation/Show details.
- You view the Sales quotation enquiry window. Toggle the following pages to browse, and in some cases, drill down to further information.
- Basic data
- Extended details
- Profit
- Address
- Select the line and click Select.
- Select menu item line.
- Click the quotation line with the right mouse button to view the Sales quotation line pop up menu and choose Sales quotation line/Details.
- You access the Sales quotation line enquiry window. Toggle the different pages to browse, and in some cases, drill down to further information:
- Basic data
- Price
- Profit
- Item
- Enter the item code.
- Dispatch time
- Enter the dispatch time.
In the Enquire on box, you view the Sales quotation and Lines radio button options. Here you determine whether to search for the quotation header or quotation line. The system default is the Sales quotation radio button.
Quotation
If you tick the Sales quotation radio button option, you can enter some or all of the following information in order to determine the search terms:
Note: When available, you can click the Find icon to the right of a field to retrieve and select from a list.
Click Find to run the search.
To access more quotation information, do as follows in the Quotation browser window:
To view information on a line do one of the following:
Running a search on Sales quotation lines:
If you tick the Lines radio button option in the Sales quotation browser window, you first view the Sales quotation line browser window. You can enter some or all of the following information in order to determine the search terms:
Click Find to run the search.
You access the Sales quotation line enquiry window. To view the Sales quotation header, click Header.
