The following describes how mark the applicable report, version and/or report group as secured on the DC1 Analyser side.
Do as follows for the applicable area:
Securing reports
- Access the report you want to secure via the Manage Report definitions menu item in DC1 Analyser.
- Toggle to the Options page.
- Check the Secured box to secure the report.
Securing versions
- Access the report that contains the version(s) that you want to secure via the Manage Report definitions menu item in DC1 Analyser.
- Toggle to the Versions page.
- Open the applicable Version(s).
- On the Version edit view window, toggle to the Options page.
- Check the Secured box to secure the version.
Securing Report groups
- Access the Report group you want to secure via the Manage Report groups menu item in DC1 Analyser.
- Open the applicable Report group.
- In the the Report group edit view window, check the Secured box to secure the report group.
Note: Since you have not, as yet, performed further security measures, anybody can still maintain the report definition, Version and/or Report group (i.e. anybody can uncheck the Secured) field. To prevent this from happening, the applicable Analyser functions should also be secured on the iSeries:

When this is done, you can take it one step further and grant authority to the individuals that should be allowed to Print (use) your Report, Version and/or Report group.
