When you run through the DC1 Analyser Set Up Wizard during installation, you configure the iSeries settings for the system to which you want to connect. You can, at any time after installation, configure more iSeries settings allowing you to toggle different iSeries systems.
Note: You will only have the option to change (toggle) iSeries systems when more than one iSeries system has been configured.
To configure more iSeries settings do as follows:
- Expand System Administration and select Configuration.
- In the Configuration view window on the iSeries page click the New icon to configure new settings for an iSeries.
- You access the DC1 Client/Server set up wizard window. Click Next.
- Enter the IP address or alias name of the iSeries and the Description. Tick Default connection (if you want to make this system the default connection when you logon) and then click Next.
- If you want an Auto sign on (meaning you will not have to enter this information the next time you start the program), tick the Enabled box and then complete your User Id and Password. Click Finish.
- You return to the Configuration view window displaying the new settings for your new configured system.
Note: Since there is now more than one configured system, the Change system icon will appear on the horizontal tool bar of the main window. You can toggle the systems by clicking this icon or by selecting Company/Change iSeries system from the menu bar.
