System setting | More information |
---|---|
Save at exit | When you exit DC1 Analyser, any changes you have made to the settings are automatically saved on the hard drive of your PC unless you instruct the system otherwise. To prevent the system from preserving settings changes, remove the tick beside the Save at exit setting; (choose System/Settings/Save at exit). To activate the save settings function, tick the Save at exit setting; (choose System/Settings/Save at exit). |
Save settings | You can also save the settings without exiting DC1 Analyser. If you have made many new settings, it is recommended that you save the settings in case your PC is switched off by mistake or you are unable to perform a normal system exit for whatever reason. Choose System/Settings/Save. |
Reset settings | To return to the most recently saved settings, choose System/Settings/Reset. |
Export | You can export your DC1 Analyser settings, e.g., window sizes, positions, column sets, etc., to a text file. This information can then be imported into:
|
Import | You can import the Analyser settings, from an exported text file, into another Analyser session or your own upgraded release. |
Confirm exit | By default, you must confirm your exit from the system, via a dialogue box that prompts. If you select System/Settings, Confirm exit = NO from the menu bar, your DC1 Analyser session will shut down immediately without you being prompted. This setting can only be accessed on the Main window of DC1 Analyser. |
