The following outlines the instructions for the various standard functions of columns.

Standard function To do
Adjust column width Move the mouse pointer to the junction between two column headings. The mouse pointer becomes a double-headed arrow. Hold the mouse button whilst you move the line dividing the two columns in either direction. Release the mouse button to maintain a setting.
Re-locate columns Position the mouse pointer just above the column heading that you want to re-locate. The mouse pointer becomes an open hand. Hold the mouse button down, (which changes the open hand to one which grabs the column heading), whilst you drag the column to the desired location in the table. Release the mouse button to maintain a setting.
Lock/Unlock columns You can lock the position of columns. This means that the column you lock and all columns to the left of the locked column will remain in the same position of the table, regardless of the horizontal scrolling you do. To lock a column, select the column and right-click the mouse button. Select Column (xxx)/Lock (xxx = the name of the column). A red dotted line appears in the top border of the column you locked and all columns to the left of the selected column. If you now scroll horizontally, the applicable columns will remain in the same position of the table.

To unlock the column(s), select each column and right-click the mouse button. Select Column (xxx)/Unlock (xxx = name of column).

Activate/Inactivate columns You can activate/inactivate columns, meaning they will be shown/not shown in the table. Right-click the mouse button and select Activate/Inactivate columns and then check or uncheck the applicable column.
