Base resources and resources (employees, machines etc.) are used in the sales and operation plan for the calculation of resource capacity (hours, quantity etc.) and production efficiency.
The base resources must be connected to a key value (item group, item family, item sector or department section) and a key value id before they can be used in an SOP. Depending on the key value id’s that are used in the sales and operation plan, the corresponding SOP resources will be connected to the SOP in question.
