Values that are more frequently selected than others can be set up as default values. The default values are displayed at product configuration entry, but it is possible to select other values.
Note: The configuration entry type called Component item selection (2) cannot be used if default values are defined for the configurable item. Only the defaulted value will be displayed, and it will not be possible to select the other values. See Connect a configurable parent item to a configurator parameter for information about how to change the configuration entry type.
- Select the Work with configurator items menu item.
- On the initial panel, select the configurator item to which you want to add default value text and click Attribute values.
- You access Configurator item maintenance, Attribute values. Complete the following field:
- Value from
- Enter an attribute value to be used as default at the product configuration entry.
Note: You can set Global def to YES to indicate the retrieval of the global default value at product configuration for the parent item. The global default attribute can only be retrieved from a previously entered order line with matching attribute.
Click OK when you have specified default values for the attributes to update the configurator item. Exit the routine.
