This may be used to restrict the valid attribute values on item level when the attribute is used for several configurable items.
Using this function you can select and deselect attribute values. The attribute values that you select will be displayed as options at product configuration entry. You can select one or several values to define value overrides. If no attribute values are selected, all values for the attribute are valid.
- Select the Work with configurator items menu item.
- On the initial panel, select the configurator item for which you want to define attribute value overrides and click Attribute values.
- You access Configurator item maintenance, Attribute values. Select the attribute for which you want to define value overrides and click Value overrides.
- You access Configurator item maintenance, Value overrides. All existing values for the selected attribute are displayed. Select the values that you want to select/deselect and click Select/Deselect. You can select several values at the same time. A YES in the Selected column denotes that the value is selected. Click OK.
- You return to Configurator item maintenance, Attribute values. A YES in the Overrides column denotes that value overrides exist for that attribute. Repeat steps 3 and 4 if you want to define more value overrides. Exit the routine.
