Configurable items consist of one or several configurator parameters, i.e. variable items. The configurator parameter is used to define a parameterised item for each family of variable items. The parameters define what attributes will be used to characterise the family item.
The configurator parameter for a configurable end item will be used in the configuration process to build an entry panel that displays all product attribute selections available. Validation rules to be used in the prompted entry are also defined in this table.
Note: You must create a configurator parameter for each family item, i.e. the variable component items and the configurable end item.
