If the barcode scanning functionality has been set up in the system, the scanning procedure during picking is a simple process and can be performed via any of the following programs:

Work with pickings

  1. Access the Work with pickings menu item.
  2. You access the Work with pickings, Pickings view panel. The warehouse defined for your user profile is defaulted if defined there. If a warehouse is not defined for your user profile, then the main warehouse from the DIS control file is defaulted. If it is not the correct warehouse, click the Select warehouse function key and select that applicable. Highlight the picking and click the Scan option.
  3. You access Work with batch picking, Detail scanning. The default barcode set up in the system in the Barcodes tables will be loaded into the Barcode field. Scan the label.

The content of the barcode is read, the fields corresponding to the connected application identifier are automatically updated, and the picking is automatically confirmed if the information is validated. Note: If any information from the label is erroneous or missing, the scan-related fields will become open for input, allowing you to manually correct or add the information. You can also press enter in the scan box area without entering any input to open up the input fields for values.

Work with batch receive and pick
