The related topics describe how you handle intrastat transactions created when you move goods between warehouses located in two different EU countries. You can move goods in two different routines in DC1 Distribution:
- Work with inventory (Inventory movements panel)
- Internal Replenishment Orders (IRO)
Irrespective of in which routine the goods have been moved, the intrastat transactions are updated in the EU statistics – Stock movements file. To update the EU statistics file, you have to transfer the transactions by using the Goods transaction Intrastat transfer menu item. See Transfer Intrastat inventory movement transactions.
When you use the Internal Replenishment Order routine, be sure that you have defined default values for the nature of transaction code in the Nature of transaction default table for the internal purchase order type. Since the internal purchase order is created automatically from the internal sales order, you must have a default nature of transaction code for the internal purchase order and the receiving country.
For more information about Internal Replenishment Orders, see About internal replenishment orders – sales and About internal replenishment orders – purchase.
For more information about entering stock movements see About internal stock movements.
