Returns can only be processed for credit orders of direct or internal stock replenishment order types. When an MDC credit sales order is entered in demanding company, a temporary reservation of stock and a credit sales order is created in supplying company to indicate the quantity to be returned. Goods are directly returned by the customer to supplying company. The following describes how to process a return for MDC orders.
Prerequisites
A default order type for credit orders must be defined for the Credit order type field in the MDC customer file to be able to process MDC returns.
The following flowchart illustrates the processing of returns in an MDC sales order.
