- Select the Work with batch recalls menu item.
- You access Work with batch recalls, Active. Click Add to create a new batch recall entry.

- Enter the item that is being recalled.

- Enter the batch number
- Valid from date
- This field is used to specify a time frame in which the recall goes into effect. Enter the starting date. As of this date the item/batch is on recall.
- Valid To
- This field is used to specify a time frame in which the recall expires. Enter the end date. As of this date the item/batch will no longer be on recall. Tip: Enter 999999 to indicate that there is no expiry date.
- NCC reason code
- Enter code for batch recalls. This value is defined in the Non-conformity reason code table.
- Stock category
- Enter the code for the non-conforming stock. Recalled goods will be stored in your warehouse under this category.
- You return to Work with batch recalls, Active. The item is now registered in the system as recalled. The system will immediately hold all available stock in all of your warehouses. Whenever an item with a batch number is returned to your company, the system will search through all recall information to see if it is subject to a batch recall. If it is, then they system will flag the item and the goods will be moved to your NCC location.
