Delete invoice statistics

When deleting invoice statistics from the database you have the option to store the data to be deleted on diskette/tape for future use or reference. It is up to your company to decide when, or if, you want to delete this data. It is important, however, that you not run this program while someone else is using the system.

  1. Select the Reorganise sales statistics and invoice search menu item.
  2. You access Sales stat/invoice search reorganisation where you have the following selections:
  3. Invoice date <
    Mandatory entry. Enter an invoice date. This means that only items with this date or less will be deleted.
    Remove fr inv search
    The default is YES. If you leave this setting, the options used in the invoice search function are removed. These include being able to copy invoices and enquire on invoices.
    Remove fr sales stat
    The default is YES. If you leave this setting, data will be deleted from the Sales statistics file.
    Save transactions
    The default is YES. If you leave this setting, you will save the transactions that are deleted. You must, however, enter the Diskette or tape unit to which you want to save the data.
    Diskette/tape unit
    If Save transactions is set to YES, enter the diskette or tape unit to which the deleted transactions should be saved.

    Click OK.
