Delivery times
Knowing when the goods will be delivered to your transit stock or directly to your customer is imperative. The system calculates the delivery and arrival times as follows:Transit deliveries:
Date/Time Result Purchase order dispatch date (meaning supplier dispatch time)
Dispatch date on sales order – transport time – 1 security day It is either security day or week, depending on the Delivery date format in Work with companies.
Goods arrival time
into your transit stockPurchase order dispatch date + transport time Direct deliveries:
Purchase order dispatch date (meaning supplier dispatch time) Dispatch date on sales order Goods arrival time at your customer Since you do not know the transport time from the supplier to the customer, the goods arrival time is the same as the Purchase order dispatch date. When you finish the maintenance, you continue with the work order flow applicable for the type of delivery. See Work flow for Back-to-Back (BtB) orders with direct delivery or Work flow for Back-to-Back (BtB) orders with transit delivery for a description.
